Connection and Use of System Code (CUSC) CMP221: Interruption compensation in the absence of market suspension during a Partial Shutdown

CMP221 sought to make consequential changes to the CUSC following approval of BSC mod P276 which introduces the concept of a Partial Shutdown and allows market operation to continue during a Partial Shutdown.  Where a Partial Shutdown results in Market Suspension, those users not able to connect to the transmission system will be able to claim compensation for such an event and CMP221 provides for the compensation arrangements.

The Authority approved CMP221 on 29 January 2014.
