Changes to the Distribution Code and Engineering Recommendation G59: Frequency Changes during Large Disturbances and their Impact on the Total System

This modification seeks to amend the Distribution Code and Engineering Recommendation G59, so that new and existing distributed generators with registered capacity above 5MW adhere to revised Rate of Change of Frequency (RoCoF) protection settings from 1 August 2016. RoCoF settings affect the ability of Distribution Network Operators to effectively manage their networks.
