Following our consultation with stakeholders on further validation of NDRHI/RTFO interaction by all registered biomethane producers, we have published our decision.
The decision details our response to feedback from industry and the wider sector, confirms our final administration position, and sets out the new requirement for all registered producers to provide, from 1 April 2022, an annual, independent audit verifying their interaction with the RTFO. Final guidance is included within an appendix in the document.
The decision and final guidance follow amendment regulations for the Renewable Heat Incentive Regulations 2018 (as amended), as laid on 25 January 2021 and which came into force on 1 April 2021.
