Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission's (SHE-T) New Suite of Transmission Structures (NeSTS) project was selected in December 2015 for Electricity Network Innovation Competition (NIC) funding.
One condition listed under the Successful Delivery Reward Criteria (SDRCs) required that SHE-T submit a report to us following completion of Stage 1 of the project. This report was to fully address all of the condition components and provide a well justified reccomendation on which we could base a decision on whether to allow SHE-T to proceed to Stage 2 of the project.
This letter sets out our decision to authorise SHE-T to access funding to proceed with Stage 2 of the NeSTS project.
