The 2020-21 RO late payment fund (£58,375,203) was redistributed on 3 December 2021 to suppliers who presented Renewables Obligation Certificates (ROCs) by 1 September 2021. Suppliers received a total of £4.42 per ROC presented after the redistribution of the buy-out and late payment funds.
After the late payment deadline of 31 October 2021, an additional total sum of £384,278.28 was recovered in payments from November 2021 to February 2022 from one supplier who failed to discharge its Renewables Obligation (RO) as of the deadline date. This was arranged to be redistributed on 22 April 2022 to suppliers in proportion to the total mutualisation payments they are responsible for making in respect of the 2020-21 relevant period.
Further details are provided in the Response Letter – Payments received after Renewables Obligation (RO) late payment deadline.
As with the buy-out and late payment funds, the amount paid to each supplier was rounded down to the nearest pound resulting in a total redistribution amount of £384,273.00.
