Offshore Transmission: An Investor Perspective - Update Report

Ofgem commissioned this report in 2012 in order to help provide interested parties a single point of reference that presents an overview of the Offshore Transmission Regime, from an investor's perspective. This updated report, provides a broad view of OFTO assets, including related business factors, risk and financial considerations as well as an explanation of the supporting regulatory regime. It also includes a presentation of the existing and new business opportunities provided by these assets in the context of other familiar infrastructure asset classes such as onshore networks and PFI/PPPs.
