NOTICE UNDER SECTION 6A(5) OF THE ELECTRICITY ACT 1989 OF THE GRANT OF AN ELECTRICITY GENERATION LICENCE
The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) hereby gives notice pursuant to section 6A(5) of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) that on 14 July 2023 an electricity generation licence was granted under section 6(1)(a) of the Act to Maldon BESS Limited (company number 13645088) whose registered office is situated at Ropemaker Place, 28 Ropemaker Street, London, EC2Y 9HD, United Kingdom, authorising it to generate electricity in the area specified in Schedule 1 for the purpose of giving a supply to any premises or enabling a supply to be so given.
