We want consumers to be able to reliably switch supplier the next day. We believe that this should be achieved by replacing the existing network run gas and electricity switching services with a new centralised switching service, run by Data and Communications Company (DCC).
We propose to lead a programme of work to deliver these policy proposals for consumers by 2019.
