Notice of revocation of licence
Whereas
A. Pan Energy Markets Limited (company registration number 06858229) (“the Licensee”) having its registered office c/o Mercer & Hole, Fleet Place House, 2 Fleet Place, London, EC4M 7RF, United Kingdom, is the holder of a Gas Shipper Licence (“the Licence”) treated as granted under section 7A(2) of the Gas Act 1986 (”the Act”) on 2 October 2009.
B. Section 7B(3) of the Act provides that a licence granted or treated as granted under the Act may be revoked in accordance with any term contained in it. Paragraph 1(f)(iv) of Schedule 2 of the Licence provides that the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (“the Authority”) may at any time revoke the Licence on giving not less than 24 hours’ notice to the Licensee where it passes any resolution for winding-up other than a resolution previously approved in writing by the Authority.
C. By a resolution passed on 6 September 2012, Pan Energy Markets Limited resolved that the company would be wound up voluntarily. Administrators acting on behalf of the Licensee (Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants) requested revocation of the Licence by an email dated 6 March 2014.
D. Accordingly, the Authority gives notice of the revocation of the Licence.
Notice of Revocation
The Authority hereby gives notice that with effect from 25 April 2014 the Licence shall be revoked.
