David Gillies was appointed as Associate Director, Human Resources on 9 October 2006.
David joined Ofgem in November 2005 initially as Head of Human Resources Strategy and more recently Head of that team.
David is responsible for the management of the HR function where his responsibilities include the development and implementation of HR Strategy and development of a high quality day to day HR service.
Prior to joining Ofgem David worked for the BSI Group based in Chiswick for 12 years. David held a variety of HR roles initially in day to day operational roles at divisional level, moving into Group roles in Employee Relations and Change Management. Latterly David was promoted to Head of HR for the BSI Group a position he held for five years.
David graduated from UEA with a BA (Hons) and is a Fellow of the CIPD.
