Following two consultations in December 2013: enforcing three week switching and preventing erroneous transfers, we are publishing a statutory consultation on modifications to the gas and electricity supply licences.

These changes would introduce new supplier obligations to avoid erroneous transfers and strengthen the requirements for customers to switch supplier within three weeks (after any cooling off period).

We are asking for responses by 12 May 2014.

This consultation has closed and was not progressed further.
