This letter sets out our findings on the prices suppliers charge to domestic consumers for different payment methods. It follows our request for suppliers to provide us with this information in February 2014.
We published the letter on 20 May 2014. This document did not identify the source of the tariff information used in our estimates of the price differences between payment methods as shown in Figures 1 and 2. We subsequently published a revised version of the letter that correctly references the source, which can be found at the link below. There were no other changes made to the original letter published on 20 May 2014 in the revised version.
