Ofgem has today launched a new strategy for regulating the future energy system.

This sets out our regulatory approach to keep pace with major changes in how we are generating and using energy in Britain.

As part of this strategy, Ofgem has also published a decision to carry out a significant code review looking into certain aspects of charging for using the energy networks.

Andrew Wright, Ofgem’s senior partner for energy systems, explains these documents in more detail in his blog.
