Ofgem response to feedback on Significant Code Review Launch Statement

Decision

On 24 July we  launched the Settlement Reform Significant Code Review (SCR). The Launch Statement set out how we intend to progress with the SCR and the options we considered to undertake and complete the process as well as our proposed model for the Design Working Group to develop the Target Operating Model (TOM) and the governance structure we intend to use for decision-making. Stakeholders were asked to provide feedback on these proposals by 1 September 2017.

This document sets out Ofgem’s response to the feedback we received from stakeholders and our decision on how we intend to progress the SCR and the governance arrangements for the development of the TOM. The feedback we received was highly supportive of the direction proposed in the Launch Statement, with many stakeholders supporting Ofgem leading an end-to-end SCR process and the governance arrangements for the development of the TOM.

Based on the stakeholder feedback and subsequent feedback from the Design Advisory Board, we have also made amendments to the Design Principles for the TOM.

We would like to again, thank those who participated in the consultation and provided feedback to the SCR Launch Statement.
