Ofgem has been monitoring micro and small business engagement in the energy market for several years. This report summarises the main findings from the 2018 survey. It covers switching and comparison behaviours, perceptions of price differentiation between suppliers and the switching process, and contract review processes.
This year the survey has been adapted to include a segmentation of micro and small businesses to provide a more nuanced understanding of the motivations behind engagement in the market.
