This is our impact assessment on Uniform Network Code modifications 0501V, 0501AV, 0501BV and 0501CV 'Treatment of Existing Entry Capacity Rights at the Bacton ASEP to comply with EU Capacity Regulations'. These modifications propose how existing capacity holdings at the Bacton entry point will be treated after implementation of the Capacity Allocation Mechanisms network code on 1 November 2015.

We set out the background to the modifications, the potential impacts and initial conclusions based on the factors we have looked at in this assessment.

We are inviting stakeholders to comment on this impact assessment. Responses should be sent to david.mccrone@ofgem.gov.uk by 17 June 2015.

Our final decision will be assessed against the UNC relevant objectives and our wider statutory duties. We will also consider the comments made by stakeholders during the modification process and in response to this impact assessment.

We aim to publish our final decision in July 2015.
