Electricity North West Limited’s (ENWL) Capacity to Customers (C2C) project trialled increasing loading on parts of its HV network, without resorting to conventional network reinforcement, by releasing inherent spare capacity on the network. The project began in January 2012 and completed in March 2015. Under the governance of the Low Carbon Networks Fund, following the completion of the project, ENWL is required to produce a Close-Down Report to provide sufficient information for third parties to understand what has been learnt from the Project.
A copy of ENWL’s C2C Close-Down Report is published below. The Close-Down Report accompanies the suite of learning reports published on C2C’s website.
