When you apply for the Domestic RHI, you receive an Initial Tariff, which is the tariff published on the main tariffs and payments page at the time you submit your application (your application date).
The Initial Tariff is valid from the application date until 31 March of that year. Your tariff will then be adjusted in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI) at the start of each financial year (1 April). The adjusted tariffs are known as Subsequent Tariffs.
The below table shows the Subsequent Tariffs that will come into effect from 1 April 2015 for existing customers.
Subsequent Tariffs for those with air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps or solar thermal systems
Subsequent Tariffs for those with biomass boilers or stoves
Due to degression, the biomass tariff changed on 1 January 2015, and the Subsequent Tariffs vary accordingly.
