Decision on proposed modifications to Interconnector (UK)’s Charging Methodology

Decision

On 5 December 2017, Interconnector (UK) (‘IUK’) proposed modifications to its Charging Methodology to the Authority for approval. IUK also requested that we issue a direction permitting IUK to vary its Charging Methodology Statement in accordance with the price publication timetable in the proposed Charging Methodology.

After careful consideration, we have decided to approve the proposed modifications to IUK’s Charging Methodology. We have made this decision on the basis that we are satisfied that the proposed modifications meet the relevant charging methodology objectives. We have also decided to issue the requested direction in relation to the Charging Methodology Statement.

This letter and the annexed directions set out our decision to approve the submitted proposals and the reasons for our decision under section 38A of the Gas Act 1986.
