The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority is issuing the decision after reviewing the National Grid Electricity System Operator Limited (NGESO) application submission under section 10B(2) of the Electricity Act 1989 (the ‘Electricity Act’) on 3 April 2018, requesting to be certified pursuant to the ownership unbundling requirements (as set out in Article 9(1) of the Electricity Directive and transposed into GB law in section 10F of the Electricity Act).
