Decision

Consultation letter setting out our Minded to Decision on the assignment of TSO obligations under the CACM Regulation.

Update 12 May 2015

On 25 March 2015, we published our Minded to Decision on the assignment of TSO obligations under the CACM Regulation. On 26 March 2015, we removed the OFTOs from that consultation after deciding that we wanted to take more time to consider the best method to assign obligations to them. Having done this, today we are publishing a consultation on our Minded to Decision on the assignment of CACM obligations to OFTOs. This second consultation will close on 9 June 2015. We are also extending the deadline for responses to the 25 March 2015 consultation until 9 June 2015 so that interested parties can consider and respond to both Minded to Decisions at the same time. If you would like to discuss this further please contact michelle.murdoch@ofgem.gov.uk

Update 12 June 2015

We have received eleven consultation responses in total to the two minded to decisions to assign TSO obligations to GB TSOs including OFTOs from: Balfour Beatty, Blue Transmission, Britned Development Ltd, EirGrid Group, Energy Networks Association (ENA), Moyle Interconnector Ltd,  National Grid Interconnectors Ltd, National Grid, Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission plc, SSE plc and SP Transmission plc.
