The Authority gives consent to National Grid Electricity Transmission Plc 's request to transfer part of its Licence to National Grid Electricity System Operator Limited and modify the licence conditions in the manner specified in attached Schedule 1 and Annexes. Subject to the licensee complying with the provisions of paragraph 9 in the consent, this decision will have effect from 1 April 2019.
The consent to transfer and modifications are a core element of the separation of the electricity system operator (ESO) functions from NGET’s licence, which will go live in April 2019.
