Approval of NGG's Generic Revenue Driver Methodology Statement 2015

Decision

National Grid Gas (NGG) required by their gas transporter licence to have a Generic Entry and Exit Revenue Driver Methodology (GRDM) Statement setting out how revenue drivers are calculated. NGG  consulted on changes to the GRDM in July 2015. The minor amendments include administrative changes, clarifying timescales for calculating the revenue driver, and the removing the references to making consequent changes to the Constraints Management target.

We gave NGG consent in August to update the GRDM Statement without an accompanying statement from an Independent Examiner.

This letter explains why we have now approved the revised 2015 GRDM Statement.
