Electricity supply licensees who are supplying, together with their affiliates, at least 250,000 customers are required to accede to the Green Deal Arrangements Agreement (GDAA). Other supply licence holders may voluntarily accede if they wish to participate in the Green Deal.
The GDAA is an agreement between electricity suppliers, finance parties and green deal providers. It sets out the governance for payment, collection and remittance of Green Deal charges.
