The CSS Service Management Products set out the Service Management requirements, tools and operational approach to ensure the effective and smooth delivery of the new switching arrangements. The purpose and high level content of each of the Service Management products are set out below:
D-4.2.3 CSS Service Management and Operational Approach
- This product ensures that all parties have a common understanding of the service management approach for switching and which organisation has responsibility for each activity.
D-10.2 CSS Service Management Requirements
- The purpose of this Service Management Requirements product is to define and document the SM requirements that are to be placed on both new CSS Service Providers and existing Providers of Central Data Services to meet the needs of the new Switching Arrangements.
D-10.3 CSS Service Management Operational Requirements
- This product outlines how the Switching Operator (DCC) will to coordinate, organise and manage the day-to-day operations and functions of the CSS and its service providers to ensure Market Participants receive an effective Switching Service.
D-10.4 CSS Service Management Tools
- The document purpose is to define the requirements and features that are required in the CSS technology that will be used to support Service Management with respect to the CSS Service Management System, and the CSS Self Service Portal.
The products will be of particular interest to those industry actors who are actively involved in the current switching processes or are considering entering the market.
