The Revised Ofgem Confidence Code: December 2017 is published in line with Ofgem's Decision on Estimated Annual Costs for domestic consumers.
This decision allows suppliers and Confidence Code accredited price comparison websites to come up with their own methodologies when calculating estimated annual costs, rather than using the previously prescribed method. The Confidence Code has been updated to reflect these changes.
This follows on from the previous version of the Confidence Code published on 01 September 2017, which implemented the decision to partially implement the Whole of Market requirement.
