For the purpose of CERT the term “social housing providers (SHP)” refers to borough councils, city councils, housing associations and registered social landlords.
The CERT obligated suppliers may work with SHPs to deliver energy efficiency measures to households within the social housing sector. Detailed on the right hand side is information for SHPs involved in CERT projects. These include the requirements necessary for Ofgem to approve a scheme where a CERT obligated supplier partners with a SHP. Suppliers may have other conditions as part of their contracts.
