Remove the BSC compensation mechanism that allowed an intertrip to be treated as a Bid-Offer Acceptance (an intertrip is a device that automatically trips a site when it receives a specific signal prompted by a system fault). A separate amendment to the CUSC, CAP076, proposed to provide an alternative compensation mechanism under that code.Ofgem issued this decision letter on 10 June 2005, approving P177 for implementation. CAP076 was also approved on the same day.
