The transmission licence special conditions set out all of the licence conditions which are specific to the licensee who owns them. For Offshore Transmission Owners (OFTOs), the special conditions will include information on the regulated revenue stream and performance incentives. This will cover the value of the revenue and any adjustment mechanisms. The timing and duration of the revenue stream will also be laid out in this licence.
The special conditions also set out which parts of the standard conditions are switched on for the particular transmission licensee.
