Entry Capacity and Auctions 

 

National Grid Gas (NGG) operates a number of entry capacity auctions for users to secure access to the National Transmission System (NTS). These auctions offer capacity for sale for both the long and short term. As a result of these auctions users can trigger the release of incremental entry capacity to secure additional capacity supplies at NTS entry points.
