One of the key ways for stakeholders to engage during these reviews will be via the Price Control Review Forum (PCRF). There will be two separate PCRF groups. One group has been established and regularly meets for RIIO-T1 and GD1. An additional PCRF will be established for RIIO-ED1. The PCRF groups will meet regularly during the reviews to provide input to Ofgem about a range of aspects of the price controls. The groups will include a broad range of stakeholder representatives.

RIIO-ED1 PCRF
We invite any parties who consider they can provide a representative view to nominate themselves for the RIIO-ED1 PCRF. Please email RIIO.ED1@ofgem.gov.uk by 27 February 2012 and explain what they believe they could contribute.
The functions of the price control review forum (PCRF) include:
- to provide the opportunity for network companies and their stakeholders to feed directly into the price control review process either on specific issues or across a wide range of issues;
- to allow Ofgem and network companies to hear first hand the views of interested parties;
- to provide an opportunity to bring together all aspects of stakeholder engagement being undertaken by Ofgem, network companies and interested third parties;
- to allow Ofgem to evaluate its outputs and incentives proposals and for Network Operators to evaluate their business plans (although much of this will be the responsibility of network companies in their own engagement); and
- an opportunity to discuss the output tradeoffs that may need to be made in the review, in light of competing stakeholder interests, and to fully understand the reasons behind different views.
We will be holding a launch event in March for the RIIO-ED1 PCRF and working group members, and will provide further details to members at the start of March.
