The Quality of Service Working group (QoS) is made up of Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Ofgem and other relevant parties. It provides a forum to constructively discuss ideas related to Electricity Distribution Quality of Service. The working group does not have decision making powers but assists the industry in the ongoing development of Quality of Service Policy and its implementation.
Areas that Quality of Service Working Group is looking at include:
- Understanding of their quality of service performance;
- Work on performance comparisons;
- Network resilience; and
- Telephony incentives.
