Revenue and Price Control Compliance

This page contains information relating to the way Ofgem monitors compliance with the price control charge restrictions which electricity Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) have to comply with.

The charge restrictions limit the revenue which DNOs can collect by charging electricity suppliers for use of their systems to transport electricity to domestic, commercial and industrial customers.

They also incorporate incentive mechanisms designed to promote high levels of customer service and efficient network operation.

You can read about the background to the current charge restrictions by visiting the other pages in this section which cover the cost reporting and price control areas of our work.

A link to the revenue forecast information published by DNOs under the Distribution Connection and Use of System Agreement (DCUSA) is given in the Further Resources box to the right of this page.
