The Distribution Policy team deals with electricity distribution network policy. This includes:
- modifications to network operators’ charging methodologies,
- regulation of the Independent Network Operators (IDNOs),
- the structure of charges project, developing charging arrangements for distribution companies, and
- considering policy on distributed generation to ensure that it is not treated unfairly by the way networks are operated and regulated.
