The forum is a customer group for metered connections issues. It has the aim of considering commercial matters associated with the promotion of competition and performance within the connections industry. Representatives of this group sit on the Electricity Connections Steering Group (ECSG) in an effort to feed in customer concerns and raise potential areas of improvement or consideration in furthering the ECSG’s purpose to promote competition for the benefit of customers.
MCCG also has a focus to promote fair and open competition and to consider the incentives in place to promote this e.g. guaranteed standards.
