Direct marketing 

In a competitive market suppliers will actively market their products to customers.

One of the key ways in which suppliers have sought to do this has been direct marketing. Direct marketing includes doorstep sales, telesales and sales away from customer premises, for example by attempting to sign up new customers in retail outlets such as supermarkets. This section contains documents that review the requirement to regulate the manner in which suppliers perform direct marketing.
