CEER and ERGEG 2008 Work Programme
CEER and ERGEG recently published their annual Work Programme, which sets out the comprehensive series of reports, consultations and deliverables that the European regulators will take forward in 2008. This year there are four major topics addressed:
- Third Energy Liberalisation Package proposals,
- Facilitating proper implementation of existing legislation and rules,
- The Electricity and Gas Regional Initatives, and
- Security of supply, inter-dependence and regulatory cooperation.
Priorities in 2008 include:
- to ensure non discriminatory access to networks,
- to encourage investment,
- facilitate cross-border trade,
- improve transparency of information, and
- effective unbundling
