Jude joined Ofgem in October 2007. She is responsible for providing insight, research and analysis on consumer and demand side issues and for influencing and shaping Ofgem’s policies and decisions in relation to these issues. As part of this Jude leads Ofgem’s Consumer First programme. She is also responsible for helping to embed sustainable development thinking across Ofgem.
Jude joined Ofgem from the Office for Public Management where she worked with a wide range of central and local government organisations to improve their focus on citizens and service users. Prior to that Jude was a Director at Opinion Leader Research specialising in deliberative research and policy analysis. Her earlier career was in consumer research in the private sector in both the UK and Asia. Jude holds a degree in Business from the University of Bath and Postgraduate Diplomas in both Marketing and Market Research.
