Robert Hull is Managing Director, Commercial Services, Ofgem E-Serve. He is responsible for the regulatory services that Ofgem administers for the UK energy industry, including the development and operation of a competitive tendering regime for offshore transmission networks, and the delivery of several major environmental policy programmes.
Previously, Robert was Director, Transmission at Ofgem and responsible for all aspects of electricity and gas transmission policy, including the 2007-12 transmission price control review, and a review of electricity transmission access arrangements.
Before joining Ofgem, he held a number of senior management roles in the private sector. He has extensive international experience, and was previously a Business Development Director with National Grid plc, responsible for investment origination and transaction management in the international energy and infrastructure sectors.
