Megan joined Ofgem in 2010 to lead the Legal and Enforcement teams in the Sustainable Development Division.
 
Megan began her civil service career in 1995 at the Department of Trade and Industry and has advised on electricity and nuclear matters.  Previous posts include Deputy Director for nuclear power, Deputy Director for company investigations (both in the Department for Business) and Deputy Counsel to the Speaker in the House of Commons.  Prior to her civil service career Megan practised as a company-commercial solicitor in private practice.  Megan has a masters in EC law from the Université de Paris II.
