Duncan Sinclair is joint head of the legal team at Ofgem, the GB energy market regulator and National Competition Authority. He heads the Markets division legal team that handles matters such as competition law and European legal issues.
Called to the Bar of England & Wales in 1996 following law degrees (B.A. and LL.M) at Cambridge, Duncan is expert in competition and regulatory law, and worked in these fields in private practice in London and Brussels prior to joining Ofgem as Legal Director in 2005. Duncan has written and spoken publicly about key issues in competition and regulatory law.
