Ofgem is committed to minimising the impact of our work on the environment.
We have in place a Sustainable Development Action Plan (SDAP) which sets out targets against a range of key action areas, including climate change and energy, waste management and recycling, procurement, travel and people.
Some of our targets are set by Government but we also have a range of key targets that we have set ourselves. As a result since 2004 we have achieved a reduction of 42 percent in the carbon emissions associated with our work.
We also monitor performance against our Sustainable Development Action Plan and report on it annually.
