Improving accessibility and transparency 


In early 2006 we successfully redesigned our consultation and decision documents. More recently we took steps to simplify our documents relating to industry code modifications and derogation decisions. 

In 2007-08 we finished a project to make our documents fully electronic and easier to navigate. Internally, we have introduced electronic records management across Ofgem. This should enable us to respond more efficiently to requests for information, including those made under the Freedom of Information Act. We have introduced an Editorial Board with an ongoing remit that includes reviewing the quality and quantity of print and electronic publications.
