Miriam Greenwood OBE DL 

Miriam Greenwood is a non-executive Member of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority.

With qualifications as a barrister and in corporate finance, Miriam has spent more than 25 years working for a range of financial institutions and banks, including S G Warburg, Hill Samuel, Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank. Prior to her current role as a Director of Corporate Finance at Brewin Dolphin Securities, she was a Founding Director and Chief Operating Officer for British Linen Advisers and a director of Quayle Munro Holdings Plc.

Miriam is a Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh, a Non-Executive Director of Gartmore Global Trust plc, and Heritage Underwriting Agency plc. In 2000 Miriam was awarded an OBE for services to corporate finance.
