Jayne Scott 

 

Jayne Scott is a non executive Member of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority.

Following a successful accounting career with Coopers & Lybrand in Edinburgh, where she worked on a range of activities including audit, corporate finance, recovery work and advisory work on electricity privatisation, Jayne became Finance Director for the Fife Health Board at the age of 31.


In 1999, Jayne established, with her husband, her own management consultancy, Scott Ross Partnership, which specialises in recovery situations. She has worked closely with the Scottish Executive in a variety of areas. She also serves as Deputy Chairman of Entrust, the body which regulates the landfill tax credit scheme on behalf of Customs and Excise.
