David Fisk is a non-executive member of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority.
David holds the Laing O’Rourke Chair in Systems Engineering at Imperial College London and is co-director BP Urban Energy Systems Project.
He was previously a Departmental Chief Scientist at the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions (DETR) and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. While in the Department of Environment (DOE) he was responsible for policy on climate change negotiations and air quality. Before that, he was Head of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Building Research Establishment. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and is President Elect Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers
